Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Corning, NY
Pay: $18 to $22.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician support the installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This role is technical in nature and focuses on machinery maintenance. Candidates will work alongside experienced technicians to gain hands-on skills and support daily maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and production equipment
• Support installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Perform basic tasks involving welding, wiring, and general equipment repair under guidance
• Follow safety procedures and help ensure safe operation of equipment and work areas
• Learn to diagnose equipment issues and participate in resolving breakdowns
• Help ensure production lines remain operational with minimal downtime
• Assist with scheduling and prioritizing maintenance tasks with supervision
• Document maintenance activities and follow established procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

Qualifications:

• Associate degree, certification, or training in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field preferred, OR 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning industrial equipment repair
• Strong understanding of basic manufacturing or mechanical concepts
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and communicate effectively
• Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced maintenance duties
