Delivery Assistant

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and physically capable Delivery Assistant to support a delivery team transporting furniture and other products from the warehouse to customer residences. This position involves loading and unloading furniture, assisting with deliveries, providing professional customer service, and helping with general warehouse duties when needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with loading furniture and other products at the warehouse.
• Safely unload and move furniture at customer residences.
• Assist the delivery driver with transporting and positioning furniture.
• Enter and exit customer homes while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Help protect customer property and furniture during the delivery process.
• Follow proper lifting and handling procedures to prevent damage or injury.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area.
• Assist with warehouse duties between deliveries or when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
• Represent the staffing company and client professionally at all times.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and remain physically active for the remainder of the shift.
• Comfortable repeatedly lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and moving furniture.
• Ability to work in and around customer homes in a professional and courteous manner.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a delivery team.
• Flexible and willing to assist with warehouse duties when necessary.
• Previous delivery, furniture, moving, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
