Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour (DOE)

Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a WATER JET OPERATOR for our well-established company in the city of Downey, CA.

PAY: $20.00 - $24.00 an hour (depending on experience)

SHIFT: 7AM - 3:30PM (Monday through Friday)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp to Permanent hire

Responsibilities:

• Operate waterjet according to job specs
• Check water jet gauges during every process run, i.e., pressure, abrasive levels
• Interpret/understand blueprints, templates, sample parts or specs
• Cut or prepare material for waterjet operation
• Check dimensions / tolerances

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience of water jet operating REQUIRED
• Familiarity with OMAX and Flow machines required
• Forklift, overhead crane
• Strong math skills, good communication
• Experience with measuring tools - calipers, micrometer, tape measure
