Timber Cruiser

Enjoy working outdoors and exploring the forest? As a Timber Cruiser, you’ll help survey and measure timber stands, gathering important data that helps forestry teams manage and plan sustainable logging operations.

Duties:

• Travel to forested areas to survey and measure timber stands
• Measure tree height, diameter, and species to record inventory data
• Use forestry tools and equipment to collect accurate field information
• Mark trees and boundaries according to project guidelines
• Record and report field data clearly and accurately
• Navigate uneven terrain and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Work closely with forestry teams to support timber management projects
