Express Employment Professionals is hiring Telephone Agents for a client seeking dependable, professional communicators to support inbound call operations. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced environment, this may be a great fit.

Pay:
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour

Schedule Options:
7:00am – 3:00pm
2:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday availability required (every other weekend)

Position Overview

The Telephone Agent serves as the first point of contact for callers, ensuring inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, greet callers, and provide accurate information
• Transfer calls, take messages, and route inquiries appropriately
• Operate communication systems such as multi-line phones and switchboards
• Route emergency calls and page individuals when necessary
• Schedule appointments and assist with basic order entry
• Maintain detailed call records and documentation
• Perform light clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and sorting mail
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using phone systems and basic computer programs
• Weekend availability required
• Organized, dependable, and professional
