3rd Shift Line Operator

Located in York, PA

Salary: $19.65/Hr

Hours:

Monday through Friday with potential OT on the weekends. Monday through Thursday schedule during the summer.

Production Line 1:

1^st Shift: 5:55am-2pm

2^nd Shift: 1:55pm-10pm

3^rd Shift: 9:55pm-6am

Production Line 2:

1^st Shift: 6:25am-2:30pm

2^nd Shift: 2:25pm-10:30pm

3^rd Shift: 10:25pm-6:30am

You will be required to work every other Saturday and Sunday depending on your team assignment.

Breaks/Lunches: 20 minute break in the beginning of the shift along with a 30 minute lunch break.

Dress code: Jeans, t-shirt, slip resistant shoes or shoe covers, Lab coat will be provided. No jewelry, no fake nails or polish, hairnet required.

Length of assignment:  Evaluation hire depending on job performance, attitude, and attendance

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understands product specification sheet and makes the necessary changes in tools and supplies ingredients and packaging in accordance with product type and production requirements to the line.

• Performs set-ups and adjustments on all finishing department equipment.
• Reviews line requirements for ingredients and packaging and keeps equipment and employees supplied with the necessary material as defined by product specifications on an ongoing basis.

1. Follows Good Manufacturing Practices by adhering to company policy and keeping work area and equipment neat and clean on an ongoing basis.
2. Monitors equipment performance and reports damaged or faulty equipment to supervisor.
3. Inspects various packaging materials for uniformity before use and notifies supervisor of faulty material.
4. Inspects raw materials and finished product for uniformity and rejects product out of specification.
5. Responsibility to work and act safely in accordance with all policies
6. Responsibility to report safety hazards to people or product and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices
7. Performs any other duties as assigned.
