Salary: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Our client in Mansfield, MA has immediate need for a Sheet Metal Mechanic to fabricate components for industrial temperature control systems. The Sheet Metal Mechanic must have skill and knowledge in repairing, fabricating, modifying, and installing sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies. At least two years of experience fabricating sheet metal is required.

Pay rate: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour based on experience

Hours: Full Time, Monday through Friday / 6:00am – 2:30pm

Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements:

• Plan, lay out, construct, and install items such as deflectors, pans, and other pieces with predominantly straight edges and regular curves
• Use a variety of tools including punches, drills, chisels, hammers, mallets, shears, rolls, brakes, pneumatic riveters, and metal forming machines to shape sheet metal parts
• Correctly and accurately use measuring instruments such as calipers and various gauges
• Work safely with hand and power machines such as slip roll forming machines, box and pan brakes, crimpers, and beading machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
