Automotive Technician

Location: Dodge City, Kansas

 

A local Dodge City company is searching for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician is a vital role within the company, working on a variety of vehicle types, including building and assembling mechanical components, repairing common mechanical issues in vehicles, and running diagnostic tests to discover potential issues. Our Automotive Technician will most often work independently but will occasionally be expected to work well in a team setting on major projects.  

 

Job responsibilities:

• Repair basic car parts including brakes, steering wheels and engines
• Inspection of a vehicles electrical system
• Perform automotive care tasks
• Checking fluid levels
• Rotating tires
• Changing oil fluids

 

What we look for:

• Preventative maintenance experience
• Automotive Tech or Diesel tech experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Diagnostic and Auto mechanic skills
• Valid drivers license
• Comfortable with medium to heavy lifting and stooping
