Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Duties:

Oversee the preparation and shipment of products according to company procedures, customer requirements, and shipping/receiving best practices.
Palletize, package, band, and prepare products for shipment based on customer specifications.
Weigh, count, and verify parts to ensure accurate shipments.
Generate and apply shipping labels containing customer, weight, carrier, and shipment information.
Coordinate with the Shipping & Receiving Administrator and Shop Foreman to plan shipments and obtain necessary documentation.
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against manifests, invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
Operate a ride-on forklift to load, unload, transport, and store materials safely.
Record received materials, quantities, weights, and inventory transactions accurately.
Move materials to designated warehouse, production, and storage locations.
Maintain warehouse organization to maximize storage efficiency and ensure safe material handling.
Requisition, stock, and maintain shipping supplies and materials.
Utilize the E2 Shop Management System to record inventory transactions, shipping data, and job activity accurately.
Mark and tag materials with job numbers, piece marks, and other identifying information.
Train and support team members within the department and delegate tasks as needed to complete work efficiently.
Assist production departments when required and support overall operational needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
Ability to operate ride-on forklifts, manual pallet jacks, banding equipment, scales, and other warehouse tools.
Experience with inventory control, shipping documentation, and receiving procedures.
Experience using ERP or shop management systems; E2 Shop Management System experience is a plus.
Basic reading and writing skills required.
Intermediate math skills required for counting, weighing, measuring, and inventory transactions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Leadership skills with the ability to train and delegate tasks to team members.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
