Quality Assurance - Night Shift - $22.00 - $27.00 (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established seafood processing company. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.

Working in Quality Assurance requires attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with your team, think on your feet, and show up to work consistently and on time. No experience needed—they will train the right person! 

What you get to do:

• Preparation of line
• Checking for correct raw materials, cartons, cases and correct labeling
• Calibration of equipment
• Check cutting configurations and fryer/freezer speeds and temperatures
• Communicate any non-compliance in processing or a product not meeting specifications to the Line Supervisor and the processing status of products to the QA Supervisor
• Provide feedback on product quality, personal hygiene practices, and other essential information
• Perform periodic processing audits and finishes processing records and summaries
• Assist in removing QA equipment from the processing line and the cleaning of that equipment

Other duties may include:

• Sanitation inspection
• Bacterial preparation/inspection/examination
• Rodent control inspection
• Cleaning QA room fryers
• Working on production line when QA duties are slow

What you need to be successful: 

• Particular attention to detail must be paid to all aspects of production
  
• Adequate math proficiency, and familiarity with metric units.
  
• Comfortable with Excel
• Past attendance record and performance are an integral part of the employee selection criteria.
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 (DOE)
