Salary: $14+/HR, Based on Experience

We are seeking an Optometric Assistant for a busy ophthalmology clinic! This position is temp to hire, full time and pays $15-17/HR, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts for completeness/accuracy of information
• Act as scribe while physician examines patient either electronically or by hand
• Take ocular and systemic history and accurate visual acuity
• Step in as Optometric Assistant as needed to perform lensometry, applanation tonometry, basic muscle balance testing, assess pupils, assess anterior chamber, confrontation visual field, gross external exam, diagnostic testing, and other applicable testing

​Qualifications:

• Must have experience with visual field testing

Work Schedule: 

8:45am-5:30pm Mon, Tues, Th, Fri (one hour lunch)

9:45am-7:00pm on Wed. (one hour lunch)
