Job Description:
A local manufacturing company in the Big Flats, NY area is seeking a reliable and versatile Shop Technician to join their team. This role involves a mix of mechanical, electrical, and general shop duties in a custom production environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and learning multiple skill sets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical and mechanical work
• Assist with sheet metal fabrication and custom shop projects
• Complete general shop tasks including cleaning, painting, and floor maintenance
• Support production and assembly processes as needed
• Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with HVAC systems or forklift operation is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
