Express Employment Professionals of Rock Hill, SC is recruiting for a Chemical Operator for a company in Rock Hill, SC. Hours: Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM $18.00/hour.

 

The ideal associate will be responsible for: Chemical Operator

*Gaining a working knowledge of the solvent dye manufacturing plant which consists of a 3 glass lined kettles; 1 SS kettle, and 2 Dia-Azotization tanks.

*Using best chemical manufacturing and handling practices.

*Operating peripheral equipment including vacuum pumps, cooling water systems, chilled water systems, steam delivery systems and installed and mobile storage tanks.

*Train to make solvent dyes using good manufacturing principles and “best” chemical handling practices.

            *These manufacturing activities include: staging, product manufacturing and       movement, and properly handling all hazardous waste generated during the             manufacturing process.

            *These activities are to be carried out within all federal and state regulatory           guidelines and within limits established by existing operating permits.

            *These manufacturing processes include: Mixing and blending of solvent dyes, stripping solvents and replacing with non-solvent carriers, synthesis (dia-      azotization)

 

Education, training, and certification requirements for the Lead Solvent dye Chemical Operator: Chemical Operator

*Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma

*Must have a basic understanding of chemistry

*Prior experience in chemical synthesis, mixing, blending environment is a plus

*Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule including overtime as needed.

*Must be capable of learning the operating and safety parameters of the equipment he will be working with.
