Production Tech I

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Production Tech I to support production operations in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to learn multiple processes while contributing to the creation of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills while working collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Support various areas of the manufacturing process.
• Assist with forming and processing components according to production requirements.
• Prepare materials and batches for production.
• Operate equipment and follow established work instructions.
• Record production information and complete basic data entry.

Quality & Process Support

• Perform quality inspections and measurements to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist with identifying and reporting quality concerns.
• Follow production procedures and maintain attention to detail.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and workplace organization.

Equipment & Facility Support

• Assist with equipment setup, maintenance tasks, and inventory activities.
• Load and unload production equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S practices.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
• Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing, construction, automotive, agricultural, trade, or hands-on experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Willingness to learn blueprint reading and use measuring tools such as calipers.
• Ability to work assigned hours and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes.
• Experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, or production machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new processes quickly.
