Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing firm, is seeking a Cook for a cafeteria-style kitchen in Tyler, TX. We work with companies across East Texas to fill full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. There is no fee for using our services; however, placement is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in a cafeteria setting
• Ensure timely meal preparation to keep kitchen operations running smoothly
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Perform food preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, and seasoning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and prep areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet daily meal requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or cafeteria environment is preferred
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Permit
• Reliability is critical; punctuality and consistent attendance are required to avoid disruptions to the kitchen team
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
