We have an opening for a Carbon Flat-Roll Processing position working at a steel fabrication facility located in Decatur, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

 

Skills/Qualifications

Basic math and measurement skills.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to read and understand production documents and instructions.

Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as required.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Safely operate steel processing equipment and cut-to-length production lines.

Process steel coils into steel sheets and plates according to customer specifications.

Read and interpret production paperwork and work instructions.

Measure and inspect materials using measuring tapes and micrometers.

Maintain accurate inventory and production documentation.

Assist with general warehouse duties and housekeeping responsibilities.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.
