Our client, a local Torrnigton company, is searching for a Cable Machine Operator who will have core responsibilities within the Production department. This dynamic manufacturing environment is growing and is looking to hire a collaborative worker who will help grow the company to a new level of production. The Cable Machine Operator will work independently and as part of a team, at times with limited supervision.

Job Duties:

• Operate cable braiding machinery including loading and setting up of equipment
• Running bobbin winders and changing out stems and reels
• Rewinding and labeling cable

Skills we are looking for:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Previous machine operation experience desired but not required; client willing to train the right candidate
