Cleaner/Custodian

Located in Tuscaloosa, AL

Salary: $15-$25/hr

We are hiring Custodians for Tuscaloosa area 

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners and maintain disposal areas
• Clean windows, glass doors, and interior fixtures as needed
• Perform routine floor care: buffing, stripping, waxing, and spot treatments
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance/repair needs
• Refill paper products, soap, and other supplies; track inventory
• Follow safety procedures, use cleaning chemicals properly, and wear PPE
• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and set up/tear down for events
• Report security or facility issues to supervisor promptly

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience (1+ year)
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, stand, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
• Flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required
