Material Handler - Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local Boone, IA company seeking an experienced Material Handler! The main responsibility for this position will be to operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.

This is a great long-term, full-time position with career potential! The pay-rate for this position is $19/hr. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. 

Environment: 

• This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
• In this manufacturing environment, you will work as a team to ensure quality products are provided for consumers
• Casual clothes are preferred and steel-toed boots are REQUIRED!

Duties: 

• Receives material and supplies and properly places in designated area
• Pulls customer orders and is responsible for accuracy of order
• Gathers product, bundles and prepares for shipment
• Loads trucks using forklift or other handheld lifts

Skills/Experience Needed: 

• Must have prior forklift experience!
• Regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to feel products
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs as needed
• Have to be comfortable with strong smelling odors and fiberglass
