Part time Opportunity!

Our client is looking for a part-time Floors Custodian to join their team! A custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and safety of various facilities, such as schools, offices, hospitals, or public buildings.

Job Duties

• Provide care and cleaning to tiled, carpet and concrete floors.
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom sinks, toilets, fixtures, floors and walls
• Operate vacuum cleaners, carpet shampooers, scrubbing machines, buffing machines
• Clean and wash walls, windows and ceilings
• Replenish restroom supplies, papers, soaps, etc.
• Perform collection and proper disposal of trash, recyclable materials, etc.
• Removal, stripping and refinishing of floor finishes and applying of new floor finishes
• Change light bulbs.
• Efficiently and safely operate and use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Regularly service and clean machines used in care of building.
• Set up and move furniture and equipment for special events.
• Safely climb step ladders to perform custodial duties.
• Comply with safety requirements and report any unsafe conditions or unsafe equipment to supervisor.
• Perform building and security functions (i.e. locking and unlocking doors, building lighting, room checks. etc.).
• Comply and assist management in emergencies.
• Provide prompt, correct responses to stakeholders and customers.

Requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to bend, lift, stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Custodians should be aware of safety protocols when working with chemicals and operating equipment.

Schedule: 

• 10:00pm – 3:00am Sunday-Thursday

Payrate: 

• $20.00/hr.
