Express Employment of Ames, IA has partnered with a local Agricultural lab facility in Ellsworth, IA seeking an additional Soil Grinder for the spring season! The ideal candidate for this position should have strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks. 

This is a full-time, seasonal opportunity starting at $17/hr. 

Environment: 

• 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (can be flexible)
• Need to be comfortable working in a dusty and hot environment!

Duties:

• Grinding soil into a fine powder-like consistency
• Measuring aliquots
• Ensuring soil is at appropriate level of dryness
• Cleaning/storing labware. 

Skills/Experience Required: 

• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Need to be comfortable standing in one place for long period of time
• Prior quality control experience is preferred
