Grave Shift/ Overnight- Clean-Up/ Sanitation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Sanitation Specialist to join our food manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do

As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, work areas, and the facility to ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, production lines, and facility areas

• Follow all sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs) and safety guidelines

• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning as required

• Complete sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation accurately

• Identify and report sanitation, safety, or maintenance concerns

• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to support food safety goals

• Maintain compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, and company standards

• Support audits and inspections as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous sanitation or janitorial experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred

• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation chemicals, and equipment

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching)

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to work in cold, wet, or hot environments

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays if needed
