Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Ocala, FL
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime available on Friday & Saturday)
Pay Range: $21.00 – $23.00 / hour (based on industrial maintenance experience and skill set)
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our premier manufacturing facility in Ocala, FL. In this role, you will ensure maximum equipment uptime by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing complex manufacturing machinery, plant facilities, and automated systems.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machinery, welding units, overhead cranes, pneumatic tools, paint systems, and hydraulic presses.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical (120V to 480V, 3-phase systems), hydraulic, and pneumatic failures to minimize production downtime.
Facility Support: Support overall facility upkeep, including compressed air systems, basic plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and general repairs.
Controls & Automation: Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting, VFD adjustments, and motor control diagnostics.
Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA regulations, PPE standards, and environmental health guidelines.
Documentation: Accurately track work orders, inventory parts usage, and log preventative maintenance schedules.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications or trade school degree preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of industrial or facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Mechanical & Fluid Power: Strong proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and mechanical power transmission.
Electrical Skills: Practical understanding of 3-phase power, control wiring, relays, sensors, and reading electrical schematics.
Safety Practices: Hands-on experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and industrial safety rules.
Experience with metal fabrication machinery, MIG/TIG welding equipment, or torch cutting.
Basic PLC diagnostic skills (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00 / hour depending on experience.
Work Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with Friday/Saturday overtime opportunities.
