CNC Boring Mill Operators/machinists

Located in Waterford, MI

Salary: $25/hr.

The Company:

Family owned job shop that supports repair and replacement of large tools for the steel industry.

Summary:

We are looking for a manual boring mill machinist. 3+ years of experience operating CNC Boring Mills (horizontal or vertical preferred).
Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and materials (steel, cast iron, alloys).
Experience with large-part machining and tight tolerances.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints
• Manual Milling/Lathe Experience 
• Overhead Crane experience
• Attention to detail- ability to get things done right the first time
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must have the tools to perform the job.

 

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 06:00 AM- 04:30 PM
