Dump Truck Driver - CDL A

Located in Durango, CO

Salary: $24/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Class-A Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll operate dump trucks to support construction and paving projects, working both independently and collaboratively with our road crew.

If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced with dump trucks—and especially if you’ve worked with asphalt—you’ll be a valuable part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class-A dump truck safely and efficiently

• Transport and dump materials at designated locations

• Assist with loading and unloading heavy equipment

• Support the road crew with basic tasks as needed

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain logs

• Communicate clearly with site supervisors and team members

• Help meet production goals and maintain job site cleanliness

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class-A license

• Proven experience driving dump trucks

• Experience working with asphalt (preferred but not required)

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

• Trade school or equipment training (a plus)

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
