The Chemical Coating / Powder Coating Specialist is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts to meet quality, durability, and appearance standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring products receive proper surface treatment using chemical and powder coating processes. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in industrial coating environments.

Job Duties

• Prepare surfaces for coating through cleaning, masking, blasting, and chemical pretreatment
• Apply powder coating or chemical coatings according to specifications and production requirements
• Operate and maintain coating equipment, spray guns, ovens, and curing systems
• Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, and finish quality
• Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch-ups as needed
• Mix, handle, and dispose of chemicals in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with workplace standards
