Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

South Charlotte, NC

Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for a growing company in the South Charlotte area. This position requires an experienced forklift operator who is also willing to assist with general warehouse duties and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.

Job Responsibilities: 

Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

• Load and unload trac tor-trailers safely and efficiently
• Operate a sit-down propane forklift using both forks and clamps
• Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory control
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Safely maneuver products on and off trailers and throughout the facility
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications: 

Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

• Previous sit-down propane forklift experience required
• Experience using forklift forks and clamps preferred
• Ability to safely load and unload tractor-trailers
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
• Team player with a willingness to work outside of the forklift and assist where needed
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred

Job Details: 

Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

• Approximately 40-50% forklift operation
• Remaining time spent on warehouse support, order pulling, inventory, housekeeping, and other duties
• Stable Monday-Friday schedule
• Competitive pay at $23.00 per hour
