A local Hamilton company is searching for a mechanic who will have core responsibilities in the installation of hoists, cranes, container carrier, high loader bodies and other heavy equipment onto chassis using their training, experience, knowledge and education conforming to the   specification defined by  customer and proper installation guidelines/SOP. It is also the responsibility of the mechanic to ensure that all work is being done in accordance with the good quality practices and on-time delivery are being met per customer required date.

What we look for:

• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Aptitude in various hand tools and machinery
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to health and safety guidelines
• Possess good mechanical understanding and aptitude.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to update job-related documentation.  Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other employees of the organization.
• Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb.  The employee must safely lift and move up to 60 pounds on a daily basis.
• Work Environment: This position requires one to work both in an office, warehouse and production environment. There is a moderate level of noise, heat, cold, dust and dirt.  Employee will be exposed to varying temperatures.
