The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues
• Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in continuous improvement and preventive maintenance programs
• Perform basic facility maintenance as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or trade school preferred
• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (noise, temperature, etc.)

Additional Information

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
