Industrial Sit Down Forklift Operator / Lumber Yard Associate

Associates will be responsible for working in an outdoor lumber yard environment, handling and moving materials safely and efficiently.

Job Duties Include:

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload lumber

• Load and unload trucks, including flatbed trucks

• Identify and work with various lumber sizes (2x4, 2x6, 2x10, etc.)

• Move and stack heavy pieces of lumber throughout the yard

• Assist with general yard operations as needed

• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year industrial sit down forklift experience

• Familiarity with common lumber sizes and materials

• Experience loading and unloading trucks, especially flatbeds

• Physically able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy lumber

• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy (consistent attendance is required)

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

• Pass drug screening and criminal background check
