Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a CNC Machinist position for a Tyler, TX area machine shop! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
Operate Hurco CNC machines to produce precision-machined parts.
Set up and operate CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, saws, and drills.
Read and interpret technical blueprints, design models, and machining specifications.
Perform machine setups, tooling adjustments, and quality checks.
Program and operate 3-axis CNC machines as needed.
Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and safety throughout the machining process.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
Proven experience operating CNC machines in a machine shop environment.
Experience with Hurco CNC machines preferred.
Ability to perform machine setups independently.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with mills, lathes, saws, and drills.
Must have own machining tools.
3-axis CNC programming experience is a strong plus!
Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a dependable work ethic.
