Material Handler

An attachment’s company in Dexter, MI, is looking for material handlers on 1^st shift. You’ll be responsible for assigning inventory locations to parts and receiving work orders and purchase orders.  

What you’ll be doing as a Material Handler

• Safely and efficiently operate a hi-lo to move materials, pick jobs, and deliver parts to specified departments.

• Perform receiving inspections on incoming goods before routing them to proper storage locations or departments.

• Monitor inventory and production issues, notifying key personnel of part shortages, late shipments, missing documentation, or order errors.

• Report all damaged freight directly to the Shipping Coordinator.

What you’ll need to succeed as a Material Handler

• 1+ year of experience operating forklifts and pulling orders
• HS diploma or equivalent
