Route Driver - CDL A

Job Duties: 

• o    Perform product deliveries along designated routes, and other associated duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  o    Read invoices, delivery memos, pick tickets and other records to guarantee accuracy of all orders.
  o    Perform daily pre-trip- Inspect vehicle equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, and request service and repairs as needed.
  o    Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses, ensuring accurate delivery windows for each route stop.
  o    Place delivered products in assigned storage locations at each route stop according to customer requests.
  o    Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
  o    Accountable for product rotation, merchandising of primary and secondary display areas, replenishment of shelf stock inventory
  o    Immediately communicate problems to company supervisor by phone.
  o    Delivery cases may include use of hand truck, ramps, stairs, or other functions in the movement of cases
  o    Manage multiple assignments and tasks, ensuring appropriate use of time, equipment, and materials.
  o    Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
  o    Comply with traffic laws and obey transportation and traffic procedures.
  o    Remain DOT compliant and aware of DOT changes in guidelines.
  o    Convey client company's policy of professional appearance, and conduct
  o    Complete administrative tasks and related paperwork to guarantee the efficiency of delivery operations.
  o    Review customer concerns to determine if items need to be moved, collected, and review deliveries of incorrect product
  o    Report mechanical problems, delays, accidents or other traffic situations to client company supervisors.
  o    Turn in invoices and monies received from customer deliveries.
  o    Maintain records, including vehicle logs, & keep interior of truck organized and clean

Requirements: 

o    Must possess a valid, current Class A or B Arkansas driver license with acceptable DMV record, Must be 21 years old  
o    Knowledge of customer service standards and quality standards
o    Ability to use new applications/ and learn their software

o    Self-motivated; customer-focused
o    Excellent relationship management and relational skills
o    Detail-oriented; prioritize important action items; problem solver, active listener, Independent thinker
o    Commitment to client company principles and standards

o    Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs. from floor to should level

o    Verbal and written communication skills
o    Basic math skills required
o    High school diploma or GED

o    At least 1 year of route driving experience

Work Schedule: 6am to 4pm Monday - Friday w/ OT as needed
