Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals Miami-Dade South is currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a very busy family practice office in the Sunset area. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is comfortable performing both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. Full-time position with long-term opportunities.

Requirements:

• Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and clinical tasks including taking vitals and EKGs; ability to work through lunch hours and maintain a steady workflow throughout the day
• Escort patients to exam rooms; assist medical staff with routine clinical procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
• Handle all administrative duties including phones, scheduling, and data entry; communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
•  Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation; proficient with medical software, office equipment, and blood draw supplies

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Full Time
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour | Paid weekly through Express Pros, Miami Dade South, FL

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant required; prior experience in a family practice or similar medical setting preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required; CPR certified and able to perform blood draws, take vitals, and perform EKGs
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) required; strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player with a positive, people-first attitude
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with medical billing procedures and office equipment
