Job Overview

Express Employment is seeking skilled TIG Welders for a local company in East Moline, IL. This role involves precision welding on a variety of materials and supporting production needs through high‑quality craftsmanship.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on parts and assemblies according to blueprints and production specifications
• Weld components freehand and/or using fixtures and rotary positioning equipment
• Weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum materials
• Ensure welds meet quality and cosmetic standards, including precision welds on thin materials (e.g., 22‑gauge)
• Track and maintain inventory of welding components
• Collaborate with engineering and other departments to support production and assembly needs

 

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent professional TIG welding experience
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality, detailed TIG welds, including cosmetic welds on thin materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Understanding of TIG welding adjustments for various materials and part variations
