Do you like to stay busy and keep moving throughout the day? We are seeking a Material Handler who will have the primary responsibility of moving materials throughout the facility in support of production. This includes finding materials on the warehouse shelves, moving them to other areas, pulling materials for production and other departments, and bringing them to a designated location or as instructed. This also includes moving materials from production and putting them in the proper shelf spot or other location as instructed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pick products from shelf locations  by checking product code, size, quantity and lot/batch against packout request for production techs.
• Keep shelves neat and orderly.
• Pull drums and bulk pails and deliver them to the production department for repacking.
• Stock shelves with finished products from production department.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning/sweeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Key Skills:
• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT 49CFR guidelines is beneficial.
• Previous experience working with hazardous materials preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs

Physical Demands:
• Standing, sitting, stooping, walking, lifting, and reaching.
• Lifting overhead 5-50 pounds during loading and unloading.
• Carrying freight 5-50 pounds, 5-50 feet.
• Pushing and/or pulling weights on pallet jacks or drum dolly up to and in excess 450 pounds.
• Climbing on and off forklifts.
