Summary/Objective:

Express Employment of St. Croix Falls has partnered with a company in Frederic who is currently hiring for a Thermal Couple Assembly position. Candidates in this position will be following custom designs for creation of temperature sensors and band heaters. You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and attention to detail to succeed in the fast-paced and rapidly changing manufacturing environment.  Hours for this position are 7a to 3:30p Mon-Fri and pay starts at $16/hr. This is a great entry level opportunity to learn some new skills! 

Essential Functions:

1.)     Fitting, crimping, insulating and wiring precision electrical elements and thermal controls according to work instructions

2.)    Use hand tools and various machines to wrap, seal, or encase heating elements

3.)    Inspect components for accuracy

4.)     Join micro-wires, sensing elements or terminal connectors using various tools

5.)    Spot welding, buffing, and polishing parts.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education and experience. 

Physical Demands:

This is a mostly active position with occasional sitting depending on the task. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis. Must have the ability to do repetitive hand work with frequent handling, using fingers to feel, and wrists to twist and turn. Ability and agility to work with both hands.
