Express Employment Professionals – Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a reputable warehouse and distribution company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating forklifts efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and stacking materials within the warehouse. You’ll ensure products are handled properly and stored accurately while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers

• Move and organize materials within storage areas

• Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance or safety issues

• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts

• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies

Requirements

✅ Experience – 1+ year of recent forklift operation experience
✅ Certification – Valid forklift certification (preferred)
✅ Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed
✅ Skills – Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
✅ Reliability – Excellent attendance and time management
✅ Commute – Must reside within a reasonable distance (60 minutes or less commute)
