Responsibilities:
Must read blueprints and perform shop math to layout and fabricate various parts and assemblies
• Ability to use handheld measuring tools including a tape measure and calipers
• Experience with gauging thickness of material
• Ability to operate multiple machines: shear, uni-punch, CNC rollers, CNC press brakes (Faunc)
• Accurate and efficient set-up of machines in accordance with proper set-up techniques
• Properly operate machine to run efficiently, produce quality products and maximize machine utilization
• Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards
• Responsible for reporting all quality defects
• Accurately fill out all required paperwork
• Perform daily housekeeping to ensure the work area is always clean and organized
• Flexible schedule is required in regard to overtime and start time according to work volume
• Other duties and responsibilities as required

•    Communicates with engineers and clients who will use the programs.
•    Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
•    Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software.
•    Determines sequence of operations in a program.
•    Chooses cutting tools that will be needed.
•    Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.
•    Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.
•    Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs. 
•    Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes. 
•    Simplifies tooling time and increases productivity for machine operators.
•    Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they are to customer specification.
•    Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task. 
•    Provides programming training for new hires, when necessary. 
•    Complies with all safety rules and regulations. 
•    Inspects finalized production pieces to check dimensions and quality to ensure the quality of order prior to being shipped to customer.
