Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a local client.

We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Janitorial Technician to join a professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, work well independently, and be committed to maintaining clean and safe facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial duties including:
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Vacuuming
  • Dusting and wiping surfaces
  • Changing trash can liners
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide and receive feedback professionally
• Assist with additional cleaning projects as needed, including:
  • Floor stripping and waxing
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Window cleaning

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work every other weekend as scheduled
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a background check conducted in compliance with applicable law

Training & Compensation

• Two weeks of paid training provided
  • $17.00 per hour
  • Minimum of 2 hours per shift
  • Friday shifts may require additional hours
• Post-Training Rate: $20.00 per hour, following successful completion of training and performance evaluation

Schedule

• Monday: 2 hours
• Tuesday: 2 hours
• Wednesday: 2 hours
• Thursday: 2 hours
• Friday: 2+ hours
• Every other Saturday or Sunday: 2 hours (additional weekend hours may be available for floor stripping and waxing projects)
