Fantastic Outdoors Company is looking to add a strong Customer Service Representative to their team. This Customer Service position is primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be someone who can multitask, is an enthusiastic team player with excellent problem solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

 

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service
  • Take phone orders from customers and answer product questions
  • Monitor and reply to incoming emails through contact center queue
  • Process daily orders sent through email queue
  • Process one off PR/R&D/custom/prototype samples
  • Process monthly catalog pull as needed
  • Provide back up to the parts/warranty department as needed
  • Provide other customer service duties as directed by the manager
  • Maintain organized on-hand stock and other toner supplies
  • Distribute incoming faxes on a timely basis
  • Monitor and organize in-stock parts and cycle-out discontinued product pars with manager approval

Education and Experience

  • A four year college degree or one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with 10-Key is desirable
  • Experience with Sales Order Entry, EDI processing, Invoicing and SAGE/MAS software is desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word is required
  • Customer Service experience is a plus
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to come to reasonable solutions when faced with problems that require a service-minded attitude in standard customer interactions

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and follow written procedures consistently and accurately
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in response to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public, both verbally and in written correspondence
  • Ability to maintain calm and positive tone when interacting on the phone in any customer service situation

Compensation

Pay: 

  • Company pays 100% medical benefits after 60 days
  • PTO of 80 hours for the first 2 years of service, 120 hours for 3-5 years and 160 hours over 5 years of service, accrued but not to be used within the first 90 days
  • Discretionary Performance Incentive program tied to performance of the company against budget as well as group and individual performance measures, with 5% of base salary earning as the target percentage
  • 3%-6% 401K contribution
  • Profit sharing available after one year
