Custodian Needed for Local School District!

Salary: $15/hr.

Job description 

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• Clean windows, walls, desks, furniture, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Maintain sidewalks, walkways, and school grounds by removing debris.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor building maintenance.
• Set up and arrange furniture for meetings and school events.
• Open and secure school buildings as needed.
• Monitor and replenish custodial supplies.
• Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance and other assigned duties.

Qualifications 

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and leaf blowers.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
