1 opening until the end of August for a Bainbridge Island property.

1 opening mid August through end of September for a Port Orchard property.


Job Summary:

Provide administrative and technical property site management. This position is responsible for planning, leasing, monitoring, ensuring compliance, and managing Affordable Housing property. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a variety of administrative programs to improve the functioning of the property. Proficiency with computers, telecommunications, budgeting and finance are necessary. Attention to detail is required. A considerable amount of contact is maintained with tenants, potential tenants, and other staff. Work is performed primarily in an office setting.


Position Functions:

-Process applications, interview potential housing applicants, process applicant paperwork for property/unit qualification in a timely manner. Assist applicants in determining eligibility for housing; assist applicants in understanding the process; enter applicant data and process applicants for interviews; and show available units.

-Use compliance software and financial software for all applicable tasks assigned.

-Collect rent and tenant charges and ensure resident''s accounts are kept current. Process payments in a timely manner and in accordance with all policies.

-Exceptional Customer Service; greet and help customers, provide program information to the public, staff, residents and agencies. Schedule appointments and operate multi-line telephone system.

-Respond to current residents in courteous and timely manner addressing resident questions, concerns and requests, mediate resident disputes, and respond to emergencies and lockouts.

-Assist in annually developing property based budgets; facilitate resident and inter-departmental budget meetings, and assist with budget preparations

-Assist in procedure development and implementation. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records and files related to assigned activities and personnel. Schedule and/or coordinate translation and interpreter services as needed.


Supervisory Role:

-Work with HR and other staff to recruit, interview and select new staff members

-Perform employee evaluations, address work performance issues, and disciplinary measures in accordance with Personnel Policy

-Assess and monitor staffing needs, training needs, program structure, and work schedules

-Review and approve leave requests, and certify staff time for payroll

-Respond to needs and concerns of staff

-Training; provide new and current assigned staff with current practice and policy documents as well as on-site training time as needs arise
