Job Description

We are looking for a Public Relations Assistant to organize and oversee multiple activities, events and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public. As a Public Relations Assistant, you should be an organized and cool-tempered professional who is able to work under pressure, have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. You must also be confident in public speaking and project management abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare press releases, speeches and promotional material
  • Build positive relationships with media and the public
  • Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management
  • Edit and update material and publications
  • Organize activities and events
  • Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
  • Address inquiries from the media and other parties

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Assistant or similar role
  • Experience managing and organizing events
  • Background in researching, writing and editing publications and other material as needed
  • Proficient in MS Excel and social media
  • Strong communication ability (oral and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
