Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking a skilled Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to support a recycling facility in Davenport, IA. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of all machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and general maintenance on machinery and equipment, including cranes, forklifts, loaders, and related systems
• Document all repairs, inspections, and equipment updates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two-year AAS and/or certifications in Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Hydraulics, or Electrical
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repairs, and hydraulics
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and preventative maintenance
• Minimum 2 years of stick and TIG welding experience

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position
• Night Shift (3rd Shift): Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM
• Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour
