Express Employment is seeking a Scale Administrator to join our client’s team.

This role supports a fast-paced industrial recycling environment where accuracy, safety, and customer service are critical. The company values dependable team members who can multitask effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and professionalism in both customer interactions and administrative responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate truck scale systems to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles using SAI software
• Accurately log customer, vehicle, and material data into the system and centralized database
• Process customer transactions, including verifying materials and issuing payments (cash/check)
• Provide professional customer service in person, via phone, and email, including answering questions about pricing and materials
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring safety protocols are followed

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately enter and verify data
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Prior experience in trucking, logistics, or a scale house environment
• Experience with data entry and administrative duties
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices
• Experience using radio communication systems (CB or two-way radios)
