Machine Rewinder Operator

Rewinder Operator Job Highlights

• 2nd (2pm-10pm Mon-Fri) or 3rd (10pm-6am Sun-Thurs) (will train on 1^st)
• Pay: $17-21 per hour
• Location: Green Bay, WI - east side of Green Bay

Machine Operator Job Summary: The Machine Operator will be operating a rewinder, performing manual and automated tasks. This position will also inspect labels for errors and defects and package finished product produced off label printing equipment.

Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Set up machine and make necessary changes to ensure quality material is produced
• Load materials onto the machine, including roll changes
• Identify and troubleshoot machine quality, waste, delay, and safety concerns
• Make diameter, perforation cut, tension, and log saw adjustments as needed
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met

Machine Operator Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of prior machine operation experience REQUIRED - paper or printing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of all pressroom operations.
• Work safely, abide by and promote established safety policies and procedures.  Identify and follow-up on unsafe conditions.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
