Job Title: MIG Welder (Evaluation-to-Hire)

Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-Minute Lunch at 11:30 AM)
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on custom-fabricated parts and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
• Take precise measurements and ensure products meet specifications
• Complete projects from material preparation through final weld and inspection
• Maintain high-quality weld standards and workmanship
• Utilize hand tools and shop equipment as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements

Qualifications:

• MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Stable work history and commitment to long-term employment preferred
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Equipment Used:

• MIG welding equipment (90% of the job)
• Hand tools
• Drill presses
• Saws (if trained)
• Potential use of a hi-lo (forklift)

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for the majority of the shift
• Frequent bending and movement
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work safely in a fabrication shop environment

• Face shield (required)
• Welding hood (required)
• Work boots (required)
