Window and Door Field Measure Specialist

Located in tigard, OR

A growing company serving both commercial and residential customers throughout the Tigard and Beaverton area is looking for a hands-on Window & Door Field Measure Specialist to join their team.

In this role, you'll be out on job sites taking final measurements of doors and windows before work begins. Your measurements are an important part of the process because the installation team relies on you to provide accurate information so the company can order the correct materials for each project.

Every project is different, so this is a great position for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and learning the details of different window and door systems.

What You'll Do

• Travel to commercial and residential job sites throughout the Tigard and Beaverton area
• Take accurate final measurements of windows and doors
• Evaluate rough openings, jamb depths, exterior conditions, and trim requirements
• Identify different window and door configurations and determine appropriate installation methods
• Look for potential installation challenges before materials are ordered
• Communicate measurements and job-site conditions to the office and installation team
• Work with a variety of products, including:
  • Aluminum
  • Metal
  • Fiberglass
  • Wood
• Assist with window and door installations when needed
• Help with waterproofing and weatherproofing work, including trim and caulking
• Assist with glazing, including properly fitting and sealing glass panes against heat, air, and water
• Install and remove windows and doors as needed
