Express Employment Professionals in Mount Vernon has partnered with a locally owned and operated cold storage company to recruit for their next Maintenance Technician. This position is a contract to hire position.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of their seafood processing facility. Your expertise in maintaining and repairing processing equipment will directly impact the ability to meet production goals and maintain product quality. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6:30AM - 4:00PM

What you get to do: 

• Maintain process equipment: Signode strappers, vacuum pack machines (roll stock and chamber vac machines) conveyors, fish processing equipment, Butcher Boy band saws, electrical, some hydraulics and general ground maintenance.
• Perform service work documentation.

 What you need to be successful: 

• Familiarity with working with motors, pumps, wiring, switches and hydraulics
• General facility maintenance
• Must be able to weld: stick, TIG and MIG
• Two years industrial maintenance experience preferred
